Our Does

Our does are the heart of Hateno Grove. They are chosen not only for their milk potential, but for the qualities they pass on to future generations. We look for does that demonstrate:

• Strong mammary systems with good attachment
• Smooth blending and correct toplines
• Depth of body and capacity
• Dairy strength without coarseness
• Calm, steady temperaments

Milk production is important, but structure ensures that production lasts. We focus on building females that will remain productive for years, not just a single lactation.Our does are raised in a low-stress environment with proper nutrition, clean housing, and careful observation. 

We believe that good management shows in the next generation.

Our Bucks

A buck contributes half of every kid born, which makes buck selection extremely important.

Our bucks are chosen based on:

• Strong maternal pedigrees
• Correct feet, legs, and general structure
• Balance and overall dairy character
• Dams and granddams with well-attached, functional udders

We study pedigrees carefully. We look beyond the individual animal and consider the consistency of the lines behind him.

Future buck profiles will include pedigree information and photos.
